If you want a gun which just works and you don't want to upgrade anymore, this is it. However, the gun just shoots like you want every gun to shoot, it works and it keeps on working, shot after shot. Internals: What I have been told this is a proprietary gearbox (vector only has the nozzle and such proprietary), which might make it hard to work with, not sure.
Again a proprietary mag, but it fits M4 pouches quite well. Mags: They feel solid, not too much capacity. The stock is a little bit wobbly when fully extended. The battery compartment is a piece of shit, it's so fucking small, even on the carbine version. It's a cool looking gun, but that's were it ends for me.Įxternals: Feels ok, nothing special here. Price: Considering you need specific mags and pouches for the gun, I'd just buy a lower end M4 and upgrade the shit out of it and still not come close to the price I'd pay for the vector. Your girlfriend won't be complaining however. Trigger response: Being a very high rate of fire gun IRL, I expected this gun to have very crisp trigger response, in contrary the gun has a very hard trigger pull, after a day of playing you'll feel your finger due to how hard you have to pull the trigger. Measured (useful) range outside was 60 meters. Range and consistency: Once the hop-up was tuned in the gun shot straight and consistent, no remarks here. The gun itself performs flawlessly, I love the cut off lever that actually decouples your battery from the electronics. This is something I have heard from other vector owners as well. They sound as if they were shimmed way too hard out of the box. Internals: The gears are really, really loud.
They are also rather long (duh) and will require you to buy SMG (MP7 pouches for example) pouches to fit them. Mags: Magazines feel cheap, and are a bitch to empty (for example when there's some BB's left in the mag and you want to empty them by pressing the little button). Feels like premium stuff when you hold it. Since the EVO came up on this thread aswell, I will compare both guns on here starting with the Vector, I have about 10 hours of actual gameplay time with both guns, neither are mine, neither am I a fanboy of any of them so I'm pretty objective:Įxternals: The body feels solid, very solid, all the buttons are very 'hard' to press (very tough springs behind them), doesn't feel like it will break anytime.
